E3 09: Atlus Announces E3 Lineup
Not Surprisingly, it's RPG-Tastic
by Sarah

It’s no secret that I’m a bit of an Atlus fangirl. I can’t help myself; any publisher that provides me with hundreds of hours of fantastic gameplay earns a spot in my heart. Naturally, I’m pretty excited to visit Atlus at E3 next week, and even more so after getting their E3 line-up announcement earlier today. Handheld games, next-gen RPGs, downloadable titles, an MMO, and some surprises yet to come? Sign me up.
Some games on the docket don’t come as a surprise, like PS3 action/RPG Demon’s Souls, which Atlus just announced they were publishing in North America. Also, Devil Survivor and Persona for the DS and PSP, respectively, will be making appearances, and since I’ve never played the original Persona, I’m pretty excited to see more. Droplitz, the downloadable puzzle game, will be featured, and we’ll even get an early look at Trauma Team (which won’t be released until 2010). Lastly, there will be a playable beta for fantasy steampunk MMORPG Neo Steam: The Shattered Continent.
If that’s not enough for you, you’re clearly crazy, but don’t worry, Atlus promises some surprises to come as well. If even half of these games are as good as I want them to be, the rest of the year is going to be chock full of Atlus goodness. Expect all kinds of impressions of these, and tons of other titles, in the coming days.

Alright, fine! I'm excited about a steam punk MMO. Does that make me a loser? Yes, probably. But we'll see who the loser is when I put on my comically enormous goggles, flip all the switches on my gear-laden helmet, and hop onto my one-man pedal-powered whirl-a-ma-copter. THEN who looks like a loser?!?
DEMON'S SOULS!!!!!!! thats all i need
They better announce Super Robot Taisen OG on PS2...... I mean, the thread on their Suggestion forum is like almost 1500 posts big, while the bigger after that is like a mere 200 ;)
