Fable II Developer Blog Promises "Big Announcement"
Not That They Like to Tease

Fable II may be a few weeks old already, but I’m nowhere near done and still enjoying every minute. What I’m not a huge fan of, however, is the game’s developer, Lionhead, teasing “quite a big announcement” coming next week in their blog—after saying that “we don’t like to tease.” Oh, who the hell are you guys fooling? You LOVE to tease! This isn’t the first time Lionhead has made an announcement about an announcement, and I can assume it won’t be the last.
Normally, we don't like to tease too much. You know, all this hype being generated by teasing the announcement that there will be an announcement in X-number of days. Who cares? But in this day and age where a gazillion titles are asking for your attention, I felt it might be the right thing to do on the blog. We've got some G o o d [Good] news for all Fable II fans next week, dare I even say it's quite a big announcement? Yes of course I dare say it's a big announcement regarding Fable II, next week!
Good news, huh? I’m guessing that this has to do with some sort of downloadable content for the game, maybe some new dungeons to explore, or possibly a new story mission or two. There’s always the chance that it’s just a new weapon or something, but that would be pretty lame for such a “big announcement”. Whatever it is, I probably won’t pick it up until I’ve beaten the whole game to death; unless, of course, it’s free. I don’t know if I’ve made this clear, but I’m a big fan of free stuff. What do you guys think it could be?

Maybe they'll put in an actual armor stat, hand-to-hand combat, and a coupon to get all the stuff they stiffed the limited edition people on... too little, too late Pete.
The LE code that was supposed to come with the game would be nice, now that I'm pretty much done with the game for now.
Finally got a copy of it (thanks, mom!) and am enjoying it quite a bit so far. Played some multiplayer today with a friend and didn't like that I couldn't use my own character. But I did like I could level up and gain achievements through the online experience even when it wasn't my master file.
