Fable II Getting Patched
Also, Limited Editions Getting Missing Content
by Sarah

Over the weekend, a lot of Fable II players reported a glitch in the Monks Quest in Oakfield that makes the Abbott become unresponsive. I was surprised to hear this, since I personally hadn’t had any problems, but the good people at developer Lionhead made it their top priority to get this fixed. Well, according to Kotaku, they have done just that, and a patch is ready to go:
We’re keeping a close eye on our forums, while a lot of the issues reported are not issues with the game necessarily, some of them are (like the two examples mentioned in my blog) however and so we’re looking at those, plus some (like the Abbot Quest) have been fixed already.
Even though the patch is done, it hasn’t been released yet and Lionhead did not state when it would be available. However, I can’t imagine it will be too long a wait, since they are obviously dedicated to keeping their fans happy. In other Fable II news, the gimped Limited Editions that were sold last week without codes for bonus DLC will have their problems solved tomorrow. What that fix will be, precisely, is unclear, but rest assured you’ll have your Spartan armor soon enough.

very good to hear the game getting a quick fix for some issues and also good for the users with the missing DLC.
Nice job Lionhead
Good to see they are keeping up on the patch promises. This game looks like it is making strides to being what Fable 1 was supposed to be.
