Final Fantasy IX Coming to PSN on May 20
Cue Victory Music
by Sarah

Surprise! Final Fantasy IX is coming to the PlayStation Store, and soon! What? You're not surprised at all? Well, whatever, it's still good news. There have been some heavy hints that PS3 owners would soon be able to play through Zidane's tale (no pun intended!) by downloading it from the PSOne Classics section of the PlayStation Store. According to Siliconera, that day is May 20, meaning that Japanese gamers are exactly two weeks away from FFIX.
Since Siliconera's source is a Japanese twitter, I don't know how to validify their statements, but I'm going to just hope that North America doesn't have to wait too much longer to see the game on the PS3. Also, with all three PS1-era Final Fantasy games about to be on the PSN, it's time to get even more classics up there. I'm personally hoping for SaGa Frontier, who's with me?

at least now it's official.
God dammit, where the hell is my Vagrant Story. SERIOUSLY! :/
@Zantagor: Haha, I knew you were going to ask! Sadly I don't have an answer for you.
I still don't get why it's taking them so long, considering it's been pretty much 6 months since it came out in Europe
They need to slow down on the FF games. I haven't started 7 and I'm about 2 hours into 8. Now 9 is almost out.
Maybe they should focus on getting more PSP games out for the Go. Oh why do I bother saying that anymore?
Well that was a given since how well the others are doing on the PSN.
