Final Fantasy IX Probably Coming to PSN
Time for Some Chocobo Treasure Hunts!
by Sarah

Two of the most awesome things Sony has done in the last year are putting Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII on the PSOne Originals section of the PlayStation Network. Not only did that make these hard-to-find classics readily available for fans new and old (for a reasonable price, no less), but that also made them portable, since PSOne Originals can also be played on the PSP. Naturally, the two Final Fantasy titles sold like hotcakes, and it looks like Sony may be finishing off the PS1 trilogy in the foreseeable future. Producer Shinji Hashimoto has dropped some hints that FFIX could be coming to the PSN, making millions of Final Fantasy fans across the globe squeal with excitement.
After gathering fan opinions via his Twitter, Hashimoto stated, ""Thanks to everyone for your opinions on FFIX. Regarding an FFIX download release, everyone is so passionate about it that I'll be proposing it at the next board meeting. Look forward to next week!" Whether that means "look forward to an announcement" or "look forward to me maybe talking about this in a secret meeting" is unclear, but hey, at least it's in the pipes. I absolutely love Final Fantasy IX (duh), and even though I still have my PS1 copy, I'll gladly pay a few bucks to be able to download Zidane's saga onto my PSP. Perhaps we'll hear more next week. In the meantime, I will be obsessively checking the ESRB website to see if a new listing pops up.

Oh Yeah!! More Final Fantasy, I will be all over that! That is sweeeeeeeeeeeet news!!
Definitely picking up, yet another, Final Fantasy title from the PSN! Now if only they would release Legend of Dragoon.
I'll buy it, but I haven't really played FFVII or FFVIII on my PSP lately.
Or Dissidia for that matter. Maybe I should brush the dust off the Go.
I never played this, and I probably should have.
I'm still waiting on Vagrant Story..... it's been 4 months now that it's out in Europe.... can't we finally get this game over here? ;)
