Long before God of War III had an official release date, we all knew it was coming in March. Every God of War title thus far has had a March release, so why would Sony break tradition now? Earlier this month, we discovered that GameStop had dated the game for March 16. With an official street date, this seemed real, and not just a placeholder, but because it came from GameStop, no one else wanted to believe it. Well, guess what? Once again, GameStop was correct. Sony has just made the March 16 date super duper ultra extra official, as well as revealing the God of War III cover art, which can be viewed below.



With less than two months until one of the most anticipated games of this generation comes out, there's only one more question: regular or ultimate edition? Come on, you know you want to spend $100 to get a look in Pandora's box.
