E3 08: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Coming to DS!

Okay, I'm not gonna lie, I did NOT see this coming. Amidst the news that the DS has sold 800 billion units and Pokemon are as addictive as crack, an announcement came that made me do a double-take:
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is coming to the DS.
Whaaaaaaaaa? Yes, you read that right, a brand-new GTA is coming to the Nintendo handheld. According to Nintendo, the game will be out this winter and be set in a modern-day Liberty City. It will feature a custom engine, new characters, and the same free-range gameplay that we have come to know and love.
Wow. Well done, Nintendo. Let's see Grandma and Little Sis play that one!

i really hope this is an old school top down game.
Perhaps they'll release a Hot Coffee Mod. That would give some possibilities with the stylus of the NDS.
If this is top down like the old ones, it's def a reason for my to buy a ds. I loved the old GTAs so much.
