One of the games I got to play at E3 was Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, which I thought had the potential to be a neat entry in the Resident Evil franchise. Even though I’m not the biggest fan of shooters on rails, this trailer is showing some promise. The game is looking pretty good for a Wii title, there are some familiar faces, and, of course, lots of zombies and other fucked-up looking creatures. Although, to be honest, I think the giant crocodile (or is it an alligator?) might be the scariest thing of all, at least for me.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles will be out in November exclusively for the Wii. It could be one of the most intriguing third-party titles for the Wii this holiday season. As long as it plays well and has a cool storyline that fits with the rest of the Resident Evil lore, I’ll be pleased.
