Yesterday, it was revealed that David Bowie would be a character in the upcoming Harmonix title Lego Rock Band. Like many of the guys at Harmonix, I’m a huge Bowie fan, so I was a bit excited. Now we have actual gameplay footage of what Bowie will look like in the game, and while hearing “Let’s Dance” naturally makes me want to put on my red shoes and dance the blues, I have to say that Bowie definitely looks less recognizable with everything else that’s going on.

I’m starting to agree with everyone else at Gamervision HQ that perhaps a more distinct Bowie era should be been replicated with this Lego character, like Ziggy Stardust or Aladdin Sane. That said, any Bowie is always better than no Bowie, so I’ll take it and dance for fear tonight is all.
