UPDATED! Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis Unlockable in Staff of Kings
This Game is Already Better Than Anyone Predicted
by Sarah

Just over a week ago, a new game starring everyone’s favorite archeologist, Indiana Jones, was announced: Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, which will be hitting the Wii, DS, and PSP. Like most people, I was a little skeptical about Staff of Kings, but some new details have come to light that have made me more eager to play it. According to the game’s website, the classic point-and-click adventure game, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, will be unlockable in Staff of Kings. This is awesome news for gamers young and old, as every Indy fan should play through Fate of Atlantis at least once. It is definitely one of the best games in the genre, and one of the few with any real replay value.
As for more information about the gameplay in Staff of Kings, it appears that the three separate platforms will see different gameplay elements. The Wii version will allow the player to wield the remote like a whip (which could be really awesome, or incredibly stupid), while the DS version requires the use of the stylus to control Indy’s signature weapon. The PSP version, while not having any fancy control schemes, will include six types of gameplay, so hopefully that means they’re not gimping the handheld games. Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is supposedly due out this spring, which I find highly dubious, but expect more information either way. In the meantime, you can read the full fact sheet below.

Fate of Atlantis brings back some awesome gaming memories (I was addicted to these games like the Dig, Sam and Max thE Circle of Blood) this will be worth picking up just for the nostalgia... and of course my love for Dr. Jones
@disention - No time for love of Dr. Jones! (sorry... couldn't resist)
I played through Fate of Atlantis recently and it really holds up well. It goes to show that a good, original Indy story can appear in a video game, let's see if that will ever happen again.
I'm pretty sure you hit the nail on the head.
"Docta Jones! Docta Jones!"
