Last year, RPG fans were blessed with Shin Megami Tensei’s Persona 3, one of the best games I’ve ever played and my personal favorite game of 2007. However, gamers in the eastern hemisphere got something more: Persona 3 FES, an expansion to the original game in which includes a ton of extra content. I’ve been hoping and hoping that this game would make its way over to the U.S., and it just may be happening.



This completely vague rumor stems from a timer on Atlus’s website. What’s it counting down to? It doesn’t say, so I can’t tell you for sure, but as Kotaku points out, it is similar to the timer in the opening of Persona 3. We all know how I feel about wild speculation (love it!), so I’m going to take this rumor and run with it. Something is happening in six days, and if we’re lucky, it’s the announcement of Persona 3 FES in the U.S. It’ll be like Christmas all over again!
