Is Phoenix Wright's Miles Edgeworth Getting His Own Game?
OBJECT--Wait, No!
by Sarah
In the “this is potentially cool” news department, a rumor seems to be floating around the old internets that our old friend Miles Edgeworth may be getting his own spinoff game. If you’re unfamiliar with Edgey, as his friends like to call him, he’s the beloved hardass prosecutor from the Phoenix Wright trilogy.

The game, which is apparently working under the subtitle Perfect Prosecutor, will offer these gameplay elements, according to Famitsu (I notice there’s no two-player mode where two lawyers face off in the courtroom, unfortunately):
* A law adventure game where you act as the prosecutor.
* Main characters are Miles Edgeworth, Dick Gumshoe
* You control Edgeworth, searching for overlooked evidence and inconsistencies at the crime scene.
* New search and deduction systems are introduced.
I definitely think an Edgeworth game could work, and every other game in the series has been great so far, but I think I would miss the courtroom action if they take that away. Right now, it seems like the game will focus on crime scenes, but I hope at some point you’d get to see a courtroom from the prosecutor’s side. No word on any kind of release date yet, so I guess we’ll just have to see how this one develops.
