Back in November, Gamervision invaded the Philadelphia Video Game Expo and saw Jack Thompson debate Lorne Lanning over video game violence. We also met a young man who had the clever idea of getting his Grand Theft Auto III cover art signed by Mr. Thompson, who gamers also know as Public Enemy Number One. “I wish I’d thought of that,” I said at the time.



Now I’m really kicking myself, as that same item is listed on eBay for a Buy It Now price of $4000. While I’m not sure if anyone will shell out that much cash for it, there’s no question that it is a nice item for any gamer to have. Nick, the young seller, claims that he is listing it mostly for show, but if anyone does buy it, he will donate the money to Child’s Play, a charity also supported by us here at Gamervision. One thing’s for sure: next time I come face to face with Mr. Thompson, I’ll be a little more prepared.
