Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days Confirmed for North America
No Word on How Many Days Until Release

With Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories (also known as: That Game I’d Rather Forget Ever Happened) just launched on the PS2, Square Enix has announced that another game in the series, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, is now officially getting a U.S. release. As a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts I and II, I would be excited for this, if not for two things: one, I hated Chain of Memories and don’t exactly relish the thought of another non-sequel Kingdom Hearts; and two, the subtitle is so fucking stupid, not to mention I’m not even sure how I’m supposed to say it.
That being said, I’ll probably try it out as long as it stays away from card-based combat. The DS game will take place during the yearlong period Sora was asleep and star Roxas, who you may remember from the first three hours of Kingdom Hearts II. There will also be some kind of multiplayer mode in which players can take the roles of various members of Organization XIII. That sounds thrilling and all, but seriously Squenix, where the hell is Kingdom Hearts III? I could go for some news on that any day now.

I can't wait for this title! Now that I have a DS, for the third time in my life, I can enjoy another Kingdom Hearts title!

i'm sure the subtitle will have a more official name before its released......
I liked the idea of Roxas. They just didn't develop him enough when we played him in KH:2, that's all. That's why this game was made. More information!
I loved not playing as Sora for 4 hours. It was great, and helped explain how people can be split, and there's the darkness, and when you're in the dark worlzZZZzzzzzzzzz...
I know most people hated the Roxas part of KHII, I honestly don't think it was THAT bad, but I understand where you're coming from, Coop. Like, "Here's a highly anticipated sequel, but you don't actually get to play as the protagonist for a few hours! Enjoy!"
