L.A. Noire Reveal Coming Next Month
Reminder: L.A. Noire Still a Thing
by Sarah

L.A. Noire was announced years ago, but so far this generation we've barely heard a damn thing about it. Set in Los Angeles in the 1940s, the game will focus around a series of murders, and... yeah, that's all I got. Oh, wait, there's the fact that it was supposed to come out in 2008, then 2009, and it's now 2010 and other than a casting call last October, we've still heard next to nothing about it. According to Rockstar Games, that's going to change next month, and more information about L.A. Noire is imminent.
On their website, the team at Rockstar Games answered a few questions from gamers, and particularly interesting was one about the perpetually M.I.A. L.A. Noire. Rockstar's response:
There will be something great to see soon - a proper in-depth look at the game and why it is so ground breaking and innovative, both in terms of the game's design and the amazing new technology to support it. Expect to see a long-awaited reveal via a big cover story next month.
I dig the game's aesthetic, and I thought it seemed neat when I first heard about it, but honestly, it's been so long that it wasn't even on my radar anymore. Hopefully this "big cover story" will shed plenty of light on the game, including a release window. As long as it's not followed by another six to eighteen months of silence, we should be hearing a lot more about L.A. Noire in the months to come.

can't fucking wait.
Well, all I can say is that Rockstar are not known for shelling out crappy games, so it might be worth the wait.
