LittleBigPlanet News Site is Live
Wait, This Game is Actually Coming Out This Year?
by Sarah
LittleBigPlanet is easily one of my most anticipated games of the year, and a solid reason why I own a PS3. It has also been riddled with setbacks and technical difficulties so far this year, making me extremely doubtful that we’d be seeing the PS3 exclusive in 2008. Yes, Sony has been saying for months now that LBP will be out in October, but after all the other delays, I honestly didn’t believe it. In fact, I had already accepted it, dealt with my anger and pain, and moved on to some other PS3 games.
However, it now seems like LBP may actually make its expected October release. It has been in the news a lot recently, pre-order deals have been announced, and now, the LittleBigPlanet news site has gone live. The purpose of the site “is to keep you up to date with the latest LBP goodness either direct from Media Molecule, Sony Computer Entertainment, or from you, the community.” Hey, sounds good to me! I don’t want to get my hopes up too high, but there’s now a faint glimmer of hope that I’ll own this game before Halloween. I’ll be keeping an eye on all the LBP news, as well as hopefully getting a look at PAX later this month, so stay tuned to Gamervision to stay in the know.
