When I popped in my pre-ordered copy of LittleBigPlanet this weekend, I got a message telling me that the game couldn’t connect to the servers, meaning that I couldn’t play online or try out any of the awesome user-created levels. I soon found out that this was a universal problem, and immersed myself in the story mode figuring the server issue would fix itself. Well, it has! I mean, it’s possible that the people at Sony and Media Molecule had something to do with it, but I like to think that it was magic.

Long story short: the LittleBigPlanet servers are now live! This is definitely good news, because I expect that the user levels will be even more creative and impressive than those found in the beta, and I can’t wait to try them out. Too bad I’m stuck in the office for the next few hours. Stupid work. Luckily, I’ll be hanging out at Gamervision HQ for the rest of the day, loving my job!
