One of the most intriguing things about upcoming PS3 game LittleBigPlanet is the ability to make your own levels, with an incredible amount of design options to choose from. Everything is customizable, from characters to environments to vehicles, and for me, a game that encourages that kind of creativity is definitely a good thing. However, you might not be limited to just making games, according to some members of the LBP development team in an interview with Kotaku:

"Games have conditional elements… We wanted to make sure that there is a tool set in there that allows you to create those elements. But the exciting part of LittleBigPlanet is everything else you can do with it. We didn't want to hinder people. What we wanted to make sure we widened the palette. The only real limitation is your imagination."

As the article states, the LBP creations could include things like comics, pop-up books, music sequencers, and even more. All this talk is making me even more excited about the impending release of this already highly-anticipated game, and I’m pretty sure that everything else in my life is going to hit the back burner once I slide this game in my PS3. I can’t wait.
