Microsoft Claims Fable III Will Be Out in 2010
Yeah, Sure it Will
by Sarah

Among the Microsoft news coming out of CES in Las Vegas week is this interesting little nugget: according to the publisher, Fable III will be out during the 2010 holiday season. You know, as in the year we are in right now. While we already knew that the game was in the works, I certainly didn’t suspect that the Lionhead-developed role-playing game would be making an appearance so soon. After all, it hasn’t even been two years since Fable II came out, and that was in development for what seemed like forever. Then again, with Natal also due out this holiday season, and Fable III rumored to be compatible with Microsoft’s motion-controlled… thing, maybe it’s not so far-fetched.
Additionally, it was hinted that Fable III would have a collector’s edition, which would not be a shock at all. Fable III, along with Halo Reach, are supposed to be Microsoft’s two biggest titles of 2010, and between them and Natal, the publisher could very well rule this holiday season. Sony is going to need some big-time exclusives this year if they want to compete with everything that Microsoft has going on. Again, I really want to file this in the “no fucking way” category, but at the beginning of 2008, I thought there was no way Fable II would be out that year. You never know. At any rate, expect to hear more about it soon.

well i file it under the "seriously they're trying again!?" category. fable was one of the best games i ever played for xbox, but when i played through fable 2 for xbox 360 i was disapointed. im probably not even going to buy fable 3. im foreseeing this also being filed under the "biggest fails of 2010" category. no hype from me sry.
