Monkey Island 2 Special Edition Official
Lechuck's Revenge Getting the Special Edition Treatment

Once again, the rumors are true. Last weekend, internet rumblings suggested that The Secret of Monkey Island 2 Special Edition was in the works, with an announcement coming very soon. Well, the announcement has come, and it's totally legit. LucasArts broke the news on, where else, their Facebook and Twitter last night, stating "Monkey Island Special Edition 2! LeChucks Revenge! It's official!"
That's all the information we have to go on right now, but that's enough for me. I hope the release date is soonish, because I'm really excited to see the new artwork for Monkey Island 2, and I'm always down for some classic point-and-click adventure goodness. Also, playing an old school Ron Gilbert game will be a good way to pass the time until DeathSpank comes out later this year. LucasArts, keep remaking your old games and you can have all of my money. All of it. Just keep them coming.

And if I rememeber, the games came out way before the TV Show (which sucked indeed, and was nothing like the game)
