More Beatles: Rock Band Tracks Confirmed Via Trailer
Sgt. Pepper Taught the Band to Play

This morning, I was greeted by a very welcome sight: a new trailer for The Beatles: Rock Band. The new gameplay footage makes several new songs official for the game, some of which we predicted in our Beatles: Rock Band Frame by Frame. To make it even sweeter, Harmonix has gone ahead and confirmed a few extra tunes that will be in the highly anticipated music game due out 09.09.09. How many of your favorites are in the trailer?
The newly confirmed songs are as follows:
- “Twist And Shout”
- “Do You Want To Know A Secret”
- “Can’t Buy Me Love”
- “I Wanna Be Your Man”
- “Eight Days A Week”
- “Paperback Writer”
- “And Your Bird Can Sing”
- “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”
- “With A Little Help From My Friends”
- “Within You Without You”/“Tomorrow Never Knows”
- “Yellow Submarine”
- “Revolution”
- “Birthday”
- “Dig A Pony”
- “I’ve Got A Feeling”
"Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and "Yellow Submarine" are two more of my absolute favorites, while "Dig a Pony" is capable of getting stuck in my head for weeks at a time. Though I predicted many of these songs, I'm still happy to see them in an official capacity. Hurry up, September. I need this game.

Still missing most of the ones I want. Where's Rigby? Yesterday?
This game looks better every single time I see it. The songs are so iconic, the character models are astounding, and I love the backgrounds. I may have to finally bite the bullet, and pre-order the $250 limited edition set.
i totally sang 8 days a week at an high school talent show. i wonder if i could get the old "band" back together for a little resurrection.
my only problem with this game, aside from being a beatles game, is that you pretty much have to commit to playing only beatles songs for a while if you're playing it at a party... i just wish there was a way to make it compatible with the other rock bands to allow the tracks to get mixed in a bit more, rather than having to sit through nothing but the beatles all night.
@00.19: But the people buying this game will be more than happy to play nothing but Beatles all night.
Only downside to this game is that it comes out on my first day of classes for the fall. :/
Regardless, I am just ridiculously, crazy excited for this game. Can't remember the last time I was this excited for a game release!
I want "Run for Your Life" so bad. Sadly, that will never make it in the initial song list.
