More PS1 Classics Gets ESRB Ratings for PS3

Resident Evil Sequels and Dino Crisis Likely Coming to PSN

by Sarah

The ESRB website is great for getting leaked game information, if you know what you’re looking for. I visit the site from time to time and poke around, typing in names of games I hope will get a re-release in some form, but I never seem to find anything interesting. However, whenever a game gets a new rating, someone is right on top of it, which is the case with Dino Crisis, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Though they’re not new to the ESRB site, the fact that “PlayStation 3” is now listed under Platforms for each game is a likely confirmation that they will be added to the PSone Classics line-up on the PlayStation Network.

As I have said before, I love that games from that era are being continually released on the PSN. The PlayStation was my favorite system during my teen years and kept me occupied through most of middle school, high school, and college, so naturally it will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m pretty sure I already have the Resident Evil sequels, and possibly Dino Crisis too, but it’s still a good thing that these classics are being made available for a new generation of gamers. Here’s a tip, though: no whining about the outdated graphics. They were awesome in the nineties.

I have little to no memory of Dino Crisis, although I feel pretty confident that I have played it.
