When I first heard a Japanese game called Muscle March was being localized and coming to North American WiiWare this winter, I was tempted to scoff. After watching the trailer for the Namco Bandai game, though, my reaction was more like "Japan is so goddamn weird!" That being said, it looks like this downloadable title could have the potential to be a zany, quirky hit. From the trailer, it appears that you, as a muscular participant in the world's strangest race, must run around making poses. And occasionally you get to tackle people. Win?



Namco sent the colorful image seen above instead of a press release, which sheds a little light on the gameplay. As you chase a thief around, you must match his poses using the remote and nunchuk in order to get your protein powder back. There are four poses, and missing one means that you'll be eliminated, apparently. Oh, and it looks like you can also be a polar bear.

Yeah, Japan is fucking weird.
