Neverland Card Battles Hitting the PSP
Even though the relationship between me and Atlus games has been kind of hit-or-miss over the last few months, I will always hold a special place for them in my heart because they have given me so many fantastic gaming experiences. So when I received a press release today announced that Neverland Card Battles, previously released in Japan on the PS2, would be released in North America for PSP systems, my interest was piqued.
Neverland Card Battles is a card-based strategy RPG, a genre that I am not too familiar with. Nonetheless, the screen shots are pretty, the concept is interesting enough, and I could always use a good PSP game. Check out the screenshots for yourself below, along with the handy fact sheet.

Game Description:
Based on the best-selling Japanese trading card game Cardinal Arc: Neverland Card War for the PlayStation 2, Neverland Card Battles is a new title for the PlayStation® Portable (PSP®) due out this October. Now, the future rests solely in the hands of the Dominators, those who can wield the otherworldly power found within the land’s Spectral Cards. As Galahad, a young and brash Dominator, set forth on a quest to banish Hellgaia to his shrine forever and save Neverland from judgment day.

Oh, it also has online gameplay, that could be interesting (supposing I get to know people online with the game)

Looks kind of neat, count me in... And I think this is kind of part of the "Spectral Force" universe, considering the world is also called Neverland, and I seem to recognized a few characters in there ;)
