UPDATED! New American McGee's Alice Game in the Works
Return to Wonderland Coming to PC, 360, PS3

UPDATE! We've got a little bit more information about the new Alice game (and an awesome image, seen above), which has now been officially announced via press release from EA. EA will be teaming up with Spicy Horse once again for the new adventure, which is coming to the PC, 360, and PS3. It will be a brand-new title, and will help McGee "bring his innovative vision for the franchise to even darker, more exciting places." I can't wait.
EA may have had a rough few months, with the massive money loss and company layoffs, but some good news did come out of EA’s John Riccitiello today: a new American McGee game is in the works. Specifically (and awesomely), it’s a new American McGee’s Alice title. Details are incredibly scarce at the moment, other than the fact that it will be coming to the PC and consoles; Riccitiello said to expect an official announcement later today.
I freaking loved American McGee’s Alice, and am pretty damn excited by the news. A next-gen Alice title? Yes, please. Since we don’t have much information to go on at the moment, let’s just speculate for a bit, shall we? What do you think this new game will be like, and what would you like to see included in it? Personally, I can’t wait to find out what a console Alice will play like, but I’m wondering if it will be an actual new game, or just a remake. I’m actually kind of tempted to install my PC copy of the game on my Dell laptop and play it through again. Maybe that will tide me over until we get some cold hard facts. We will keep you posted when the actual announcement breaks.

never even heard of this game, what is it like?
Alice was a PC adventure game featuring an older, mentally unstable Alice (of Wonderland fame). It had a really dark tone and a really messed-up version of Wonderland. It's pretty awesome.
I remember this game, I never played it though. I was younger and my mom wouldn't let me buy it, but I thought that it looked awesome.

This is great news. I loved this on PC. This was one of the first PC games I ever played. Very interested to see this hit 360.

Oh, PS: I realized I said "adventure" game below when I meant to say action.
Also, I wanted another excuse to comment on how awesome this game looks (based solely on that one piece of concept art).
