Though Atlus has been a little hit-or-miss this year, its upcoming holiday line-up is looking pretty promising. In addition to PS2 titles Persona 4 and Eternal Poison, strategy fans can look forward to Luminous Arc 2, yet another tactical RPG from the publisher. Atlus has just released an official trailer for the game, and it’s looking like a lot of fun. I don’t know what it is about dark witches, setting people on fire, and strategically laid-out battlefields, but I’ve really come to love SRPGs over the last few months.



I never played the first Luminous Arc and I don’t know much about the series, but I enjoyed Yggdra Union quite a bit and am looking forward to checking out more handheld tactics games. Even though it’s going to be a very heavy gaming season, especially for fans of role-playing games, it looks like I’m going to have to make time to check this one out. Luminous Arc 2 will be out for the DS in late November.
