New Releases Week of 12.07.08
I Reject Your Meager Next-Gen Offerings
by Sarah

Wow, this is the slowest week yet! Not that I’m complaining, since it makes my job easier in more ways than one. Even third-party game machines Wii and DS only have a handful of games between them, the 360’s drawing a blank, and the PS3 gets Sonic Unleashed (due only to a delay). However, the biggest game of the week is coming out on the eight-year-old PlayStation 2: Persona 4. It’s an Atlus game, so it will be hard to get; hope you’ve got your copy reserved if you plan on picking one up.

P4 is all that is needed this week! Anything else would be pointless
I'm all over Fashion Party.
Hmm...should I get Megaten? I haven't played the others...
Persona 4's as good a place to start as any, each game has a new story and new characters (similar to Final Fantasy).
Hoooo Dungeon Maker II for PSP.... that's probably the only game I'm getting aside Persona 4
And yes, Persona 3 is a good start to play a Megaten game, as it's one of the easiest. I've started playing Persona 2:Innocent Sin recently since it's been fan translated and it's a blast, but HARD ;)
Another easy one is Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2.
once you're seasoned ;) try out Nocturne if you can find a copy.
There's always Imagine, which is the MMO which the closed beta started last week.
Oh, and Persona 1 & 2:IS + 2:EP are in the same universe actually, because there's characters from P1 in P2 ;)
That reminds me, I have to play through Nocturne one of these days... I found a used copy and snatched it up, but haven't had the time to play it.
It's hard, challenging hard, expect to die a lot ;)
But the game's fun though. Needing to comunicate with demons to get them on your side and such.
Something that was in previous Persona games but was missing in 3.
