Next Week in Rock Band DLC: Happy Holidays

And Some Foo Fighters in a Pear Tree

by Sarah

Harmonix has been the latest publisher to get in on the holiday spirit with a three-pack of holiday tunes to be made available for Rock Band DLC next week. No, they're not free, but they are discounted, so if you were feeling the need to rock out to some holiday tunes for the last two days before Christmas, you are totally set. Personally, I would have rather had "Merry Christmas, I Don't Want to Fight Tonight" by the Ramones, but this will do.

For those who don't get into the holidays, Harmonix has got you covered too. Because the Foo Fighters apparently love Rock Band (or maybe Rock Band loves the Foo Fighters, and who could blame it?), you can download a Foo three-pack on Tuesday as well.

Rockin' the Holidays 2008 Pack

Barenaked Ladies - "Hanukkah Blessings"
Billy Squier - “Christmas is the Time To Say I Love You”
The Pretenders - “Blue Christmas”

Foo Fighters Pack

Foo Fighters - “DOA”
Foo Fighters - “Times Like These”
Foo Fighters - “This Is A Call”

The holiday tunes will be 99 cents each, or $2.99 for all three. The Foo Fighters pack goes for the usual $1.99 per song, or $5.49 to get the whole pack. Happy holidays!

    More Foo Fighters?
This would make Dave Grohl the most prolific artist on the Rock Band roster.
