Next Week in Rock Band DLC: Moving Pictures and Then Some
Rush Didn't Rush to Rock Band
by Sarah
As you may or may not remember, a few weeks ago a bunch of songs from Rush's Moving Pictures album were supposed to be made available for Rock Band. Well, it didn't really work out because of unforseen technical difficulties, but fear not! The team at Harmonix is finally bringing you Moving Pictures next week. As a reminder, here are the songs:
"Tom Sawyer" (original version)
"Red Barchetta"
"YYZ"
"Limelight (orig version)"
"The Camera Eye"
"Witch Hunt"
"Vital Signs"
If you think Harmonix is content just to bring you seven overdue songs, you are sorely mistaken! You can also choose from this random bunch, if Rush isn't really your thing.
Bad Religion - "Sorrow"
The Cult - "She Sells Sanctuary"
Hot Hot Heat - "Bandages"
Kasabian - "Shoot the Runner"
Sleater-Kinney - "You're No Rock N Roll Fun"
Stone Roses - "Love Spreads"
All of these tracks will be the standard $2 each, or you can pick up the full Rush album for $10.99. I'm a huge Bad Religion fan, so I will definitely be picking up "Sorrow", and I might want "YYZ" as well--that song was a lot of fun in Guitar Hero II. Anyone else excited to give these tracks a try in Rock Band or Rock Band 2?

Don't really care about Rush, but I am ALL OVER Bad Religion and Sleater-Kinney. Could've picked a better song for Hot Hot Heat, though. And Bad Religion, for that matter, but that might have been a little controversial.
Side note: I'm seeing Bad Religion on October 1 for the second time. :D I am also a huge Bad Religion fan, and since Sarah is, too, I am now also a huge Sarah fan.
I would have picked a less depressing song for Bad Religion, but at least they're on there.
Holy crap I want most of these songs. It's been a while since I've wanted almost ALL the DLC.
Well it's about damn time. I've had 1600 points waiting for Rush for a month! Bandages and She Sells Sanctuary should be fun, too.
@ NickDynmo: i was once front row at a sleater kinney concert and they totally played my favorite song for me! like literally, they pointed to me and said "this one's for you!" i guess it pays to be an annoying fan!
