When I saw The Violent Femmes in the header of the press release for next week’s Rock Band DLC, I was hoping the song “Blister in the Sun” would be including, because I really like recreating that scene from My So-Called Life in which Angela Chase dances around her bedroom pretending to have gotten over Jordan Catalano. Oh yeah, I just dropped a reference to a cancelled 1990s TV show on you, what are you going to do about it? Anyway, “Blister in the Sun” is not on the list, but “American Music” is, along with some tunes from Coheed and Cambria, Siouxsie & the Banshees, and Supergrass.
