Next Week in Rock Band DLC: The White Stripes

I'll Be Damned

by Sarah

Next week, Harmonix is offering three songs from The White Stripes, who are making their Rock Band debut. The duo isn't my particular cup of tea, but I'm sure that their inclusion will make plenty of gamers happy. There's also one track each from The Damned and Kasabian, and a few new tunes for Rock Band Unplugged. If you bought Lego Rock Band this week and you're wondering if the standard DLC will work with the new game, it will--provided it falls under the E10 rating, which should be the majority of songs. Rock on!

Available on Xbox 360 and Wii (Nov. 10) and PlayStation 3 system (Nov. 12):

The Damned – “Smash It Up (Part II)” +
Kasabian – “Club Foot” +
The White Stripes – “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” +
The White Stripes – “Girl, You Have No Faith in Medicine” +
The White Stripes – “Icky Thump”

(All tracks are original master recordings)

These tracks will be available for purchase as “The White Stripes Pack 01” as well as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system, and as individual tracks on Wii. Tracks marked with a “+” are also available in the family-friendly LEGO Rock Band Music Store.
