Nintendo Bringing Mushroom Kingdom to Manhattan This Weekend
New Super Mario Bros. Wii Launch Party Invading World Store
by Sarah

This Sunday, New Super Mario Bros. Wii will be in stores across the country (likely for about thirty seconds, before selling out). If you’re in the New York City area, though, or simply up for a road trip, you can head to the Nintendo World Store on Saturday to celebrate the new game featuring everyone’s favorite plumber. Nintendo will be transforming their World Store in Rockefeller Plaza into the Mushroom Kingdom, and will be hosting trivia challenges, costume contests, and giveaways all afternoon. Who knows, maybe you’ll walk away with something cool. Oh, you can also buy the game a day early, how about that?
Since I’m only two hours away from NYC, I’m kind of tempted to check it out. Then again, Coop would probably want to come along, and he goes all kinds of crazy when we take him to the Nintendo World Store. Anyone thinking about heading to this? Is getting the game the day before launch enough of a reason to make the trip? The full invitation below should help you decide. PAR-TAY!

this sounds cool in theory but i know it'll be way too crowded to make it worthwhile. for me, anyway.
Yeah, I prefer my Mario releases without tens of thousands of people.
