Hey, did you want a new balance board game? Well, someone must have ordered one, because one of Nintendo’s many exciting announcements at GDC 09 today was a new balance board game that combines rock climbing and rocking out... naturally. Called Rock and Roll Climber (duh!), the game will combine motion controls and the board to simulate arm and leg movements. When the climber reaches the top of the rock wall, he “picks up a guitar, and plays a single riff”, according to Joystiq.

Uh… what?


Before you get all up in arms about Nintendo and their lackluster announcements, keep in mind that they also announced a Wii storage solution and a new Zelda today. Two out of three ain’t bad, right? It may be silly, but if it’s fun, I’m in.
