Ahoy there, Wii owners! I’ve got good news for you: as previously reported, the second chapter of Tales of Monkey Island makes its way to WiiWare today. Those who haven’t been following along on the PC can now get caught up with Guybrush’s latest shenanigans. A puzzle game—Puzzle League, to be exact—is the DSiWare offering, but I don’t know about paying five dollars for a game that ends in “express”. It makes it sound more like a demo than anything else. Then again, this is only five bucks we’re talking about here, so maybe I should stop being so picky and just be glad that it’s not another clock.

As it is with all good puzzlers, the concept is simple: Connect blocks of the same color to clear them from the screen and prevent your stack from becoming too high. There are four single-player modes to choose from: Endless (survive to earn a top score), Clear (eliminate all blocks above the line), Score Attack (score as high as possible in two minutes) and Vs. COM (use items and combos to attack a computer opponent). You can choose from a variety of background music to help get you in the zone, and even play in horizontal or vertical mode by holding the Nintendo DSi system normally or like a book.
