No More Heroes 2 Trailers Are Delightfully 8-Bit
New Mini-Games Reminiscent of Old School Gaming
by Sarah
Ubisoft has released two new trailers for 2010 Wii title No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle that show off a couple of the odd jobs with which players will be tasked during the game. Both Travis and second playable character Shinobu are present, and the games are pixilated—but in a good way. To keep things fresh, the mini-games are presented in an 8-bit style reminiscent of, well, old NES games. Hey, I can dig it.
My only concern is that the games seem like they might be a little bit repetitive, particular the coconut-collecting one seen in the first trailer. However, serving up overcooked meat and getting a fork thrown at your head? I can’t imagine that ever gets old. These mini-games should help cement No More Heroes 2 as the quirkiest, most fun third-party Wii title of early 2010.

Coconut collecting. Worst summer job I ever had.
The steak one looks totally awesome. Coconuts are lame.
all the jobs you got in NMH were pretty repetitive, but you needed that cash money, so you had to trudge through them.
