During a recent chat with Harmonix’s John Drake, I asked him two extremely important questions concerning the upcoming Lego Rock Band: “Will there be any David Bowie music in this game?” and “Can there be more David Bowie in this game?” Ask and you shall receive! Today it was revealed that the Thin White Duke himself would be getting the Lego treatment to appear in Lego Rock Band, joining his pal Iggy Pop. According to Gamehunters, Bowie’s Lego will emulate his appearance during the music video for “Let’s Dance”, the classic 80s track that will be playable in the game.

As you can tell, I’m pretty excited by this news. Like most of the folks at Harmonix, I’m a massive Bowie fan. I slept with a poster of Aladdin Sane over my bed for years, and my gamertag is total blam blam, for crying out loud. I’m excited to see how Bowie’s sex appeal and pure awesomeness will translate over to his Lego counterpart.

Yes, I just used the words “sex appeal” in relation to a 62-year-old man, and I’d do it again, too. Deal with it.
