Operation Darkness Screenshots Show Guns and Werewolves

Two Things Synonymous With World War II

by Sarah

After following the development of Atlus’s Operation Darkness for the 360 since it was announced last year, I almost forgot about it in the last couple of weeks. Now with the game’s release only days away, a new batch of screenshots have been making the internet rounds. They show off most of the things you’d expect with the strategy game’s World War II setting: guns, blood, soldiers, werewolves… there were werewolves in WWII, weren't there?

Though tactical RPGs have never been my strong suit, I’m looking forward to playing this game. I enjoyed the demo, although I worry about how long it’s going to take me to complete this game if I spent two hours on just one battle. Some might say that the WWII timeframe is completely played out, but in this case, I think it will be really cool to see what publisher Atlus and developer Success can do with the genre and werewolves. I mean, you can’t really screw up werewolf soldiers, right?
