Harmonix usually waits until Friday mornings to spill the beans on the following week's Rock Band DLC, but today they were so excited they simply could not wait. Next week, 360, PS3, and Wii Rock Band owners will be treated to Pearl Jam's newest album, Backspacer, in its entirety via the Rock Band store. The 11 songs will be available in a pack for $17.99, or individually for the regular $2 each.

With Backspacer hitting stores next Tuesday, September 20, this means that the album will be out the same day 360 owners get the DLC. This is pretty awesome for fans of music games, and I hope more bands continue to be so supportive in the future. We'll have the full Rock Band DLC update tomorrow morning.
