You know what holds up incredibly well? First-person shooters on the Nintendo 64. I'm just kidding, they're nearly impossible to play for more than five minutes now, but the overwhelming power of nostalgia has gamers clamoring for games like GoldenEye and Perfect Dark to be rereleased in some form. Well, at least some people are going to be happy, because Perfect Dark is coming to Xbox Live Arcade next month. Also coming in March is Microsoft's Game Room, the virtual arcade that will allow you to play all kinds of old-school games. Yeah, I'm still not sold on that one.

Xbox Live Arcade games Toy Soldiers and Scrap Metal are also coming next month, rounding out what Microsoft is calling their "XBLA block party". I know I just made fun of people for wanting to play N64 shooters, but I'll probably end up buying Perfect Dark anyway, even though I still have it on the N64. Yeah, I'm that guy. Who else will be shelling out to Microsoft for downloadable games next month?
