PlayStation Motion Controller Called "PlayStation Move"
Motion Controller Finally Given a Name at GDC 10
by Sarah

The PlayStation 3 motion controller, previously nicknamed the "Arc", among other things, has finally been given a name. At the start of Sony's GDC 2010 press conference, the name was revealed to be PlayStation Move. That's not exactly the name I would have gone with, but hey, no one asked me.
Destructoid got a good image of the final controller, as you can see above. The remote without a glowing ping pong ball is the nunchuk-like "sub controller". The Move will be sold both alone, in a bundle with the PlayStation Eye and a game, and in a larger bundle with the Eye, a game, and the PS3. Apparently, the "starter kit" (Move, Eye, game) will come in at under $100, so at least it's not too pricey. Naturally, Sony thinks it will be the best motion controller on the market, stating "the difference is in the technology".
We'll have more GDC news from Sony and other publishers coming soon, so stick around for more.

Wow, that is a horrible name. Imagine saying, "wanna play with my Move" or I'm gonna buy a Move tomorrow". Something about doesn't feel right.

So, the Playstation is on the move then, huh?
BAD JOKE!
I'm waiting for Natal... But I'm still kind of interested in trying this thing out.
I don't get it?!
well at least it comes with a nunchuck so you don't have to hold a dualshock 3 in your other hand the whole time.
Meh. I have a Wii I'm already not using. Don't see the need to add another unused motion controller to my home.
@Sean BOOM ROASTED!
