Potentially To-Be-Delisted Xbox Live Arcade Games
These Titles May Be Hitting the Chopping Block
by Sarah
It was recently announced that the Xbox Live Arcade is going to be getting a little bit of spring cleaning. More specifically, old and underperforming titles were going to be delisted, making the games easier to sort through. The folks over at Xbox 360 Fanboy compiled a list of all the games that may meet their untimely ends in the not-so-distant future, so you can download them while you still have a chance.
All of these games average 65% or less on Metacritic and are at least six months old. The conversation rate between those who download the demos and those who actually purchase the games is not available, so some of these games might be saved. We'll find out.

Anyone else surprised that some of these games made the list? I mean, who gives Pac-Man a low score? It's freaking Pac-Man, what do you want? And Contra? Good thing I already have that downloaded in addition to my 3 NES copies. Wait, I may have just answered my own question, as well as accidentally revealing deep psychological problems. Never mind, just go download this stuff if you want it. I'll go back to my obsessive collecting.

Marathon? Texas Hold Em? Nooooos.
Pac-Man is pretty useless when put besides Pac-Man CE
Quite the listing. I guess after two to three years of adding stuff it's time to clean house. But Texas Hold'em? I used to play that game into the ground. Nice social atmosphere and, believe it or not, kind of competitive.
Not seeing anything here that would break my heart if it were delisted. Believe it or not, Shrek and Roll was sort of interesting. Not much more than a Flash game with a Shrek license attached, but it wasn't too bad.
Once again we agree, Zantagor. I've had no need to play Pac-man since CE hit the Arcade, but even solo, I don't even think Pac-man is reviewable. Just because of what it is. What's next, giving Pong a 3 because it doesn't have enough multiplayer modes? I don't know, it seems like there are a few historical games that just should not have number scores attached to them.
