Pre-Order Tales of Monkey Island, Get Cool Bonus Gifts

I know you probably didn’t need any more reasons to buy Tales of Monkey Island, Telltale’s newest episodic series that launches on the PC next week, but the developer is giving you some anyway. From now until July 6 (that’s next Monday for the calendar-deprived), if you pre-order the entire season through the Telltale website, you are entitled to the following goodies:
• Exclusive DVD slipcase painted by Steve Purcell (famed creator of the Sam & Max franchise)
• A free episode of any Telltale game of your choosing
• Access to the exclusive Monkey Island section of Telltale’s site
Ordering the entire five-episode series for $34.95 (which amounts to a bit less than $7 an episode) also nets you a collector’s DVD, which will ship at the end of the season. This only applies to the PC version, as the WiiWare port still has no release date. Hey, you were probably going to buy it anyway, so why not just pay for the whole thing now and get some extras?

meh to DVD slipcovers. they always get crushed, lost or just plain thrown away. the other stuff looks cool though.
A free episode of a different game is money in the bank for Telltale. Because unless you hate it (which you won't) you're going to buy all the subsequent episodes.
