Hey, I’m on a roll here! A lesser writer would simply copy and paste the two stories I just freaking wrote, but that’s just not my style. Instead, I’ll start fresh, and act like every single game in development hasn’t just been pushed back. So here’s the thing: you know Prototype, the upcoming title for the PS3, PC, and 360 that’s been getting a lot of good early buzz? Yeah, totally not coming out in October as planned. In fact, you won’t see it at all until next year.

What’s really sad about Prototype is that the developers already cut the multiplayer in order to make the 2008 release date, and that still isn’t happening. So what now, gamers wait until next year just to get a stripped-down version of the game? Screw it, I don’t even care anymore. I’m done looking forward to release dates altogether.

Stay tuned for five minutes from now, when Metal Gear Solid 4 gets pushed back to 2012, Fable 2 is given a 199x release date, and Nintendo announces that Wii Fit will only be available in the Bizarro World.
