PS3 Firmware Update 2.00 Goes Live
Who Needs Exclusive Titles When You’ve Got Pretty Colors?

The PlayStation 3’s newest firmware update is a big one, bumping it up to a whole new number and everything. While it does look kind of neat, I don’t think it’s going to have people running out to buy PS3s anytime soon.
The coolest of the new features is a theme option that lets you create and share your customized backgrounds, icons, and fonts. I’m down with any feature that encourages creativity, so I’ll probably have fun with that one.
The update also includes a remote start, PSP owners! Now you don’t have to leave your system on all day so that you can access it with your PSP. Since I have both, I think that’s kind of neat. PS3 owners without the handheld system probably won’t care as much.
Other new features are an information board, complete with scrolling headlines; a color selector, so you can set the mood theme of your system; music and photo playlists with additional sorting options; a new PlayStation Network category icon; and Canon printer support.

Some people at Sony need to get booted & then the whole company needs a full detox from their delusion. I'll buy one when it goes down in price & shows a larger selection of high quality titles.
nice, but for some reason my PS3 downlaods pretty slow, and i havent updated it in a while.
I agree with CrimsonKnight13. Except that they have already lost me as a customer for good. I am no longer supporting them ever again. Pretty colors and customizable options that should have been there on release arent enough to warrent $499.95. DROP YOUR LAME-ASS PRICE, GET SOME GAMES OUT, AND START SERVING THE CUSTOMERS!!!
I thought the ps3 was at 399.95 swear I saw that price. But yeah liked the update hope the keep updateing like being able to transfer stuff on the same network as you computer.
