Do you have a PS3 and Guitar Hero III? You probably answered no, but if you are among the handful of people who prefer to rock out with Sony, you’re in luck. On Thursday, June 5, you’ll be able to download one whole song—FREE! The song in question is a God of War theme, and it will be exclusive to PS3 owners, similar to the way Xbox 360 owners were able to get the Halo 3 theme last year.



Normally, this is the part in the article where I would pick apart Guitar Hero’s lackluster DLC and point out how they just can’t measure up to Rock Band, but I’m really kind of tired of writing that over and over again. By now, you know that one free song isn’t really going to cut it in the world of downloadable content. However, that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t scoop this one up when it comes out in two weeks. Free is free, after all.
