You might be still reeling from the life-changing disappointing announcement of the iPad yesterday, but hey, there's still some stuff happening elsewhere on the internet. For example, the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer demo is available right now on Xbox Live, which should give you something to do while you're holding your breath waiting for an iPad release date. The demo will run until February 25, which is the week before the game comes out.

Bad Company 2 is one of the first big shooters of 2010, though I'm happy to see it in a March release instead of the overcrowded holiday season. The multiplayer demo should be a good indicator of whether or not EA can even hope to compete with Activision's monster Call of Duty franchise.
