Resident Evil Zero Coming To Wii
Capcom Ports Another Gamecube Title
by Sarah
We all know that we’ve got a long wait until Resident Evil 5 comes out. So what are survival horror fans supposed to do in the meantime? Go back and replay some old Resident Evil adventures, of course! Luckily, Capcom is making it even easier for gamers to get caught up on the Resident Evil mythology by porting Gamecube installments of the franchise over to the Wii. Last year, Resident Evil 4 made its way onto the system, with positive results. Next up? Resident Evil Zero.
Zero, which came out in 2002, serves as a prequel to the series and was met with good reviews and a lot of sales. Even though the Gamecube version is playable on the Wii, a revamp of the six-year-old game for die-hard fans or those who never played it the first time around could be a positive thing. It won’t be entirely surprising if the whole Resident Evil catalogue eventually ends up on the Wii. You won’t hear any complaints from me.
