Rock Band: AC/DC Losing Wal-Mart Exclusivity
Take That, Giant Corporation!
by Sarah

When an AC/DC track pack for Rock Band was announced last year, most gamers assumed that it would come in the form of more downloadable content. Instead, AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack was put on a disc and shipped to stores—Wal-Mart stores, to be specific. The track pack, which contains 18 songs, was exclusive to the mega-corporation, but apparently that deal is about to come to an end. According to PlayStation lifestyle, the track pack will be hitting other retailers with a lower $30 price point, making the expansion more readily available for AC/DC fans.
That’s nice and all, but I’d still rather be able to pick and choose my favorite songs via DLC. Though it doesn’t look like this option will be happening in the near future, the fact that the Wal-Mart deal is ending means that there is a chance these tunes will eventually come to the Rock Band store. In the meantime, look for the track pack in other retailers next month.
