Rock Band Gets David Bowie DLC
The Church of Man, Love, is Such a Holy Place To Be
by Sarah
In life there are a few undisputable facts, and one such fact is that David Bowie is completely awesome. His songs rock and he’s one of the greatest musicians of all time. It should be obvious that I’m a pretty big Bowie fanatic, which is why it makes me pretty ecstatic that this week’s Rock Band downloadable content consists of three Bowie songs.
The pack, which is available on the Xbox Live Marketplace today, includes Queen Bitch, Heroes, and Moonage Daydream. Only Moonage Daydream is an original track, sadly, but you’ll be too busy rocking out to even notice. You can download the whole set for 440 Microsoft points or individual songs for 160 points each. The pack isn’t yet available on the Playstation Network for PS3 owners, but hang in there, it should be soon. If there’s any set of songs worth 440 points, this is the one.

This game already brought back fond memories of my high school band covering "Say It Ain't So" back in the day and now i can bring back Bowie's "Heroes". You'd think bowie would deserve better than a 3-song pack but what can ya do. I want to see a release date for the "Who's Next" DLC so i can officially name Rock Band game of the year.
phil.johnson: i don't think you can comprehend how awesome my "say it ain't so" guitar vocal double rendition is.
oh, and bowie is a god.
i wish they had ashes to ashes in the bundle
Queen Bitch! o wish they had "Life on Mars?"
lane: ashes to ashes is my FAVORITE david bowie song. i instantly love you.
suavy: life on mars is also up there.
everyone: be assured that nikkita totally rocks at singing and playing guitar at the same time.
yeah it's one of my favorites too the chorus is so good
i know its 10 minutes long... but i'd love to see "Station to Station". "Sound and vision" would work well... "Time", "Cracked Actor"... there are just so many great bowie songs that they could use and bowie is hip enough to let them do it too (remember omikron?)
Rock Band Rocks...
