I usually wait until the week Rock Band DLC is released to post an article about it. So when I saw this news floating around the internets yesterday, I figured that I would just wait and post it when it was more relevant. However, the more I look at it, the more excited I get, so screw it, here it is: one of my favorite bands, The Who, are getting the DLC treatment with a crapload of songs coming in mid-July.



No, it’s not Who’s Next, which was supposed to be one of the full album downloads for the game. Apparently, many of the master tracks from that album have been lost, possibly forever. However, the dozen songs being made available are definitely Rock Band-worthy, and I’m glad Harmonix made good on their promise to bring more Who to the gamers. “Won’t Get Fooled Again” is one of the best songs in Rock Band right now, so any more they could give us is sure to be great. The only downside is that it looks like these songs won’t be available until after my next Rock Band party.
